Who We Are:

Formed in 2004, The Primitive Screwheads are an eclectic collection of talent whose backgrounds range from traditional theater and film to quick-witted stand-up comedians and improvisers. We are a closely knit team that welcomes each person's creative talents because we've come to recognize the importance of everyone's creative ideas and thrive on taking these ideas and using them to help craft a type of entertainment that goes beyond tradition thoughts and expectations.

Mission Statement:

The Primitive Screwheads are a (soon to be non-profit) company whose mission is to create a radically unique type of performance that is fun, exciting, and different from traditional theater by blending different forms of entertainment like film, theater, and rock concert with the hopes of bringing in not just a traditional audience, but also individuals who would not normally go to theater as well.

Our hope is to create an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere where audiences can sit back, relax and laugh as we perform shows that gets them involved and attached to, so that when they leave, they walk away feeling they were an important part of the show and saying they had a lot of fun.
